Looking toward a new direction

I think I want to search for PR related internships instead of journalism. I also want to change my major from Journalism to Public Communication. I feel as though I have as much as I need out of journalism. The only journalism-related class I have left to take would be broadcast production, and I am dreading that one. If I switch to Public Comm., I think I would be able to take more challenging classes and feel like I am paying for more than just repetitious classes. Thoughts on that one?

I am no longer the Features Editor for the publication I work for. I switch to Head Copy Editor or Copy Chief starting in the Spring semester. I was a full-time copy editor Spring 08, so I don’t think I should have too much of a problem with it. Well, here’s to trying something new.

I hope you all have a good holiday. I’ll write again soon.
